Wish This

Why is everyone raving about wish lists?  Yes, they’re nice, in a kind of, ooh I can put this off until later way.  This, frankly, is not what I want my customers to do.  I want them to have instant gratification.  I want them to crave it, to have to have it.  Yes, ok, I admit that camera equipment is not exactly Manolo Blahniks covered in Belgian chocolate, but still.  I don’t get it.  My developer says that since my shopping cart software comes with the option available free, we might as well enable it.  Now it might just be because I’m grumpy, maybe because I just don’t like my developer, but I don’t want a wish list.  I like my online shopping cart just the way it is.  It’s pretty.  And easy.  And simple.  What more can you ask for?  Wish lists, apparently!  I don’t like change.  Not a fan.  It is fantastic that my ecommerce software comes with so many extra perks, but count me out.  I’m perfectly fine where I am, as I am, doing what I please.  Moreover, yes, maybe I should be getting some more endorphins and stop yelling at the developer so often, but whatever.  It’s on my wish list.
